The Start of J.R. Harris Media

I started J.R. Harris Media after the past failure of Universal Video Advertising in Virginia Beach, VA back in 1988. I had a partner, Anthony Moore. Our small video marketing business had 7 employees. We did mobile videos, real estate videos, local business videos, and even church weddings. Our video studio had the best equipment at that time which was Panasonic, and we used VHS, yea, many people today don’t know about VHS. But after a year of work, our customer leads dried up, and we were in trouble. The problem of “No customer leads killed our business.” Anthony and I went out of business, my wife and I divorced, and I moved to Santa Barbara to work on Amtrak for about two years. Then back to the East Coast. The time of research and learning was constantly on me for years. In 2006 in Columbus, OH, I got my feet back into video marketing. I know what works and what doesn’t. Social video works! Social media traffic plus video = customer leads! Oh, by the way, I am 67 years old with a little hair color.

Our method for success for our clients is simple and straightforward! Our process of strategy is 3 factors.
1. Traffic: There are many ways to get traffic.  You can use paid ads like Facebook, Google, or others. Next, there is Free, or organic traffic. That is good as well. But we prefer Social Media Platforms. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, and Snapchat are 8 of the best places online to get traffic for any business.
2. Customer Leads: We use video because video converts better than images and text combined.
3. Scale and Post: We scale up the number of videos to 60 plus, and this increases traffic flow and new customer leads 100%!
